Love

Hello week 12! This has been an amazing day with baby stuff. This week Baby is the size of a plum, 2 1/2 inches from head to butt. So big! I had my first trimester screening today, and it AWESOME! I'm in loooooooooooove!!!! It was the most awe-inspiring thing to look on that screen and see my baby. It actually is looking more baby-like and less alien-like now! Of course, there is still a bit of alien-likeness in there, but it's going away, lol. I posted pictures on my facebook page if anyone would like to see. It was really cool when Baby began to move around and was bouncing and holding it's arms up by it's ears most of the time. I could hardly breath when I realized I was watching the heartbeat on the screen. IT WAS SO COOL! The ultrasound tech also showed us the stomach and the bladder. I left there even more in love than I was before. Each time I say that, I think I can never feel more in love than this, but every time I do feel more in love. I really can't wait until I can feel Baby moving around in there :-) We got an "initial diagnosis" on gender, but it's not for sure, so we can't go telling everybody and buying a certain color. I can't wait to find out for sure and be able to tell everybody. I feel like it has given me another opportunity to bond with Baby, and I love to think that it's (that gender) rolling around and growing in there.
