Cold

Winter has come early to the Queen City! It seems like the past few years it didn't get cold until after Christmas, but it has already snowed once (on Saturday) and it has been bone-chillingly cold this week! And it supposed to get worse next week! :-/

It was really cold in our house this past weekend and we couldn't figure out why. But thankfully, I have a wonderful hubby who figured it out! Apparently, with all the dust and etc from renovations in the McEntire house, our air filter had clogged to the point of being completely blocked! So, now that he has changed that out, my house is much warmer :-)

Speaking of the ongoing renovations, our bathroom has been partially torn apart, and was actually without drywall for a few days. Without the drywall, it was so cold in there! My sweet hubby who always takes such good care of me, always got up early in the morning to get a heater going in the bathroom so it would be nice and warm when I got up to go in there. I do love him!! And now he's gotten all the new drywall up so it's much more toasty!

Which reminds me also, it's been so cold outside in the mornings that our windshields have been all iced over. Once again, my honey is so thoughtful....he would go out every morning and get my car all cranked and warm and de-iced so that I wouldn't have to do it. He is the best!!!

Now if only he could make it less cold outside.......
